Hi,
I've a web application on central admin with name SharePoint and URL-http://servername:0000.
I need this to be converted to https. please suggest what steps need to be followed to get this completed.

Hi Shaz,
To change the http://servername:0000 to https://servername:0000 , you need to configure Alternate access mappings.
- Create Self Signed Certificate on IIS 8
- Import Self Signed Certificate to SharePoint Certificate store
- Add Self Signed Certificate to trust management in Central Administration
- Configure IIS Binding
- Configure AAM
