  • We have a Asp.net Application. We use a third party dll for our use. While building the application , everything works fine. But At runtime we find this error.

Could not load file or assembly 'fxcore2.DLL' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found

  • Hi Kalyan,

Just follow the error message:assembly 'fxcore2.DLL' or one of its dependencies.

Please check whether the assembly and its dependencies can be load in the application. platform option, .NET Framework version etc...

All replies

  • Your application is not able to find the dll at runtime, have you ensured that "fxcore2.dll" is either registered in GAC or is located in the same location where your application assemblies are being run from.
