Fab 40 template activation error

Question

I’m trying to activate the Fab 40 ActivationTemplateCore in SharePoint and get the following error every time:

This solution contains invalid markup or elements that cannot be deployed as part of a sandboxed solution. Solution manifest for solution ’0273f170-f34b-4f05-9973-494e875dee24′ failed validation, file manifest.xml, line 64, character 4: The element ‘Solution’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/’ has invalid child element ‘RootFiles’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/’.
