Server Core application RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody,

I know this is rather a basic question, but then, how do I know whether my ASP.Net Web Application is a Server Core application? And if it is NOT, will my application be deemed not applicable for all test cases under Req 1.9?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

ASP.NET app won't work on Serve Core since it requires .NET. So you cannot publish the same as supporting core and the test cases wil be NA.

    Thanks.

  • Server Core doesn't include managed code, so if you are making an asp.net application, it won't be able to be installed on server core at all.

BTW: I don't believe it's good choice to not to include .net on Server Core, I alway want to build a server just for hosting some .net application and make it reliable as well.
