Unable to add custom domain to Azure CDN, since the domain is still bound to a deleted resource RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear sir/madam,

I am trying to add a custom domain to my Azure CDN, but I am unable to do this.

The domain seems to be bound to a deleted resource and so I cant add it to a new Azure CDN entity.

I do get the message "Successfully created custom domain", but it won't appear in the list.

  • Hi,

If the existing domain is bound to the deleted resource, then it needs manual clean up.

Can you please drop an email to azcommunity@microsoft.com with your subscription ID?

I will enable one time free support to get this issue fixed.
