How to debug NDISTest 6.5 - WlanD2SleepBVT - OSStack RRS feed

  • When i was running NDISTest 6.5 - WlanD2SleepBVT - OSStack, its showing me Device returned to D0 state before expected.

    error in log. Please help me to fix this.

  • This basically means that the system woke up too soon.  It could be that something other than the wlan adapter woke the system up early.  Typically its the lan adapter.  you can disable the lan adapters ability to wake the system from its device manager properties to see if that helps.  Also, you can convert the os logs that are captured when you run the test.  This etl file is located on your controller with the test results.  you can convert it using the following command.  "netsh trace convert input=<the etl file>" then do a search for I believe its something like wake wait irp.  based on the time stamp from the logs and this trace file you should be able to determine which adapter woke the machine up.
