WINEC7 System hangs: Either card is not eSD2.1, or boot partition is not created yet RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    iMX51, Windows Embedded Compact 7.
    The system hangs during the boot:

    this is the log:

    ...

    Any idea?

  • That message that you made bold most probably has nothing to do with the hang. It's a completely harmless message, have a look at the source yourself.

    Create a debug build of the kernel and either use KITL or debug serial output to see where it really hangs.

  • Hi,

    This issue occurs with freescale based boards if you use cfimager utility.

    I feel you flashed nk.bin via cfimager or some such tool.

    Try flashing from PB and that should resolve your problem.
