Differences between MSPDI (MS Project Data Interchange Format) 2013 and 2016? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

for former versions of MS Project, Microsoft released SDKs which also contained the XSD für die MSPDI (MS Project Data Interchange Format, aka. MS Project XML) file format. For MS Project 2016 there were not a release of an SDK. Instead, according to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/fp161358(v=office.15), the MS Project 2013 SDK is still valid for MS Project 2016, it seems.

Nonetheless, I would like to know if someone has any experiences with differences between the MSPDI 2013 and 2016 file format? Can I rely on the statement in the link above?

    Greetings,

    Michael Puls.
