PS2010 Rename a Project and Timesheets

Question
-
I have renamed several projects in PS2010 and have republished the projects, however, the old project names continue to appear in the Timesheets, even on future Timesheets where there are no actual hours posted yet. Have I missed a step?
Thanks,

Hello Kathy,
I know you are trying to delete the project in antoher thread.
Time being try the following:
Option 1:
Open the specific project -> Insert the colunmn 'Publish' -> make all the values as 'NO' -->Save the project and publish
-->This will help you not to populate this project tasks on the timesheet
--At the same time, this may help you to remove the project from the project server
Option 2:
-->Open the specific project --> Make all the resources as Proposed on this project plan
-->save and publish the project plan --> check the status
Option 3:
-->Open the plan in project professional --> save file for sharing --> Open the saved file and overwrite the server copy (Sometimes this step removes the Orphan entries)
-->save and publish the project plan --> check the status
Cheers. Happy troubleshooting !!! Sriram E - MSFT Enterprise Project Management- Marked as answer by Christophe FiessingerMicrosoft employee Tuesday, September 21, 2010 5:50 PM
