  • Does SQL Reports have version 2019? Is Power Bi an evolution of SQL Reports? Are you converting or reporting from SQL Reports to Power Bi?

There is Report Builder3.0 which is published on 8/29/2019.

You could also design a SQL report with Visual Studio2019.

    For reference:https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53613 (report builder)

    https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/ (VS)

Power BI Report Server features are a superset of Reporting Services: everything you can do in Reporting Services, you can do with Power BI Report Server, along with support for Power BI reports.
It adds the ability to render both Interactive (PBIX) and Analytical (XLSX) reports.

The format of SQL report is usually be rdl which is paginated report.

The format of PBI report is usually be pbix which is pbi report.
