Visual Studio not syncing Xcode Interface Builder RRS feed

After updating Visual Studio to version 8.3.7 and Xcode 11.2 the Storyboard is not syncing. So after I update the storyboard, I need to clean the project to make the changes reflected (which makes the development extremely slow and virtually impossible).

I open the storyboard through visual studio (right click --> open with --> Xcode Interface Builder). When hovering over the file name in Xcode it shows: users/myusername/projects/projectfolder/projectname/obj/Xcode/0/main.storyboard. When changes are made, the file which is in the tree of visual studio is not updated (I'm checking it's modified time), and thus visual studio assumes it didn't change.

Did someone encounter this problem and have a solution/workaround?

    Thanks,

    i'm seeing something similar.

Yesterday i ran into the problem discussed here - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58657087/after-upgrading-to-xcode-11-2-from-xcode-11-1-app-crashes-due-to-uitextlayoutv

To fix that i downgraded my Xcode to 11.1. That fixed that problem (and several others, actually) but now i find that if i try to open an xib file with the xcode interface builder i get "cannot communicate with xcode". Xcode has been started and does have the correct data, but any changes made are lost.

Unfortunately i don't know if this problem existed before i did the downgrade.

@Udi_Idan and @patcaruthers I see Xcode 11.2.1 available at Apple Developer site that addresses this issue.

yes, but unfortunately Xcode 11.2.1 breaks other things.
    see - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58657087/after-upgrading-to-xcode-11-2-from-xcode-11-1-app-crashes-due-to-uitextlayoutv

    i think i'll wait for 11.2.2...

Your Stackoverflow reference post does mentions that 11.2.1 has resolved the issue with UITextView. That's what the Xcode 11.2.1 Release Notes also says. Did you try it at all? But the ver 11.2.1 is GM not a GA, remember that.
