Problem with Photo in Reporting services

Question

Hi all
I am using Local report for reports in Asp.net web application
I have to print student id card.In that id card there is one photo
Actually i am rendering rdlc files into PDF.
When i display id card without pdf ,i am able to view photo properly.
But when i convert into Pdf format,photo is not visible.
I am uploading photo in JPEG Format.
what is the problem,
Any body pls help me.it is very urgent.

Hi Naren,

 

It seems you can display images in the ReportViewer control but not display in PDF exported file.

 

I have tried to reproduce the error, however everything works fine.

 

To solve the issue, could you please help to offer the following information?

1.     Where are you storing the image? I would suggest storing the image in Data Base if only the photo for card.

2.     What is the “Source” of the image control? External, Embedded, Database

3.     And what is the “value” the images control?

If the images are stored in web site, please make sure the site allow anonymous access.

And the “Value” should be full URL such as: http://<site>/imagename.jpeg

4.     Any addition information.

I got the solution. I missed the correct path.
I checked the path and now i am able to show image.
