RadZen now has an article to migrate from LightSwitch RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • The RadZen guys have published an article to assist people migrating from LightSwitch to RadZen:

I've been following the RadZen progress for some time and I'm waiting for a suitable project to give it a go. The RadZen guys seem very responsive and are moving forward with good momentum. Given that LightSwitch is end of life, people should really give these guys a try.

  • Hello novascape,

If they had a community edition it would be a lot easier and the developer base would increase dramatically.

Radzen people will consider creating a community version of their platform.

    Thank you.

PS: Create examples for VB.Net too, there are not only C # programmers in the world

  • Radzen is now offering monthly licenses for $60 a month which works well for me. The new Radzen 2.0 version is pretty nice.

I've got dozens of Lightswitch projects to migrate, I know its just a matter of time before MS releases some dot net patch or something that breaks Lightswitch for good.
