x-ms-webview.capturePreviewToBlobAsync ISSUE RRS feed

  • Question

  • Am i wrong or x-ms-webview.capturePreviewToBlobAsync DOES NOT capture the webview with its transparency? All images i get have this white background. If so it's useless if you need to get the image with transparency.

  • Hi,

I can reproduce your problem. When I set the x-ms-webview background to alicebluethen use the capturePreviewToBlobAsync to capture the snapshot of the x-ms-webview as a bitmap, the bitmap I get has aliceblue background. But when I set the x-ms-webview background to transparency, the bitmap I get has white background.

And I also test the problem in windows store app with C#, the problem also occurs.
I think that may be a bug in windows store app.

    Best Wishes!
