    I am trying to set the text color using the following css but can't find the color or foreground color property...

    .MyTabStyle .ajax__tab_body
            {
                font-family: verdana,tahoma,helvetica;
                font-size: 10pt;
                background-color: #fff;
                border-top-width: 0;
                border: solid 1px #d7d7d7;
                border-top-color: #ffffff;

    do it by your self by adding color

    .MyTabStyle .ajax__tab_body
            {
                font-family: verdana,tahoma,helvetica;
                font-size: 10pt;
                background-color: #fff;
                border-top-width: 0;
                border: solid 1px #d7d7d7;
                border-top-color: #ffffff;
                color: #d7d7d7;
            }

    It doesn't work with "Color" property and that's the reason I posted my question.

    I have removed all other properties and left the "color" but still text in black

    .ajax__tab_default .ajax__tab_body
    {
    color: red;
    }

    I am not asking you to do this i am just saying check the html file that you have and check whether any other element exist under ajax__tab_body like this

    <div class="ajax__tab_body">
        <div class="blackfont"> <!-- i am talking about this element -->
            text with black color is here
        </div>
    </div>

    You can directly refer the css style like below

     .ajax__tab_body {
                        color: red !important;
                    }

    Also adding !important will give priority to this css style than any other styles which are getting applied

    Hi NJ2,

    According to your description and code, I make a test.

    1. Now I want to change label font color, I set Lab color to black, set div to red and add priority to div, but the result is the black. So you need check the style of the element with characters.

    <head runat="server">
        <title></title>
        <style>
            #div{
            color:red ;
            }
            #Lab {
            color:black;
            }
        </style>
    </head>
    <body>
        <form id="form1" runat="server">
            <div id="div">
                <label id="Lab">32223323</label>
            </div>
        </form>
    </body>

    2. you need check if set two style to the same element, if this, you could add !important to this element style.

    3. please check class name .MyTabStyle, .ajax__tab_body in element and style if is the same.

    4. you can check the style of this element in browser through F12.

    These are reasons and methods for this issue, if this reply can not solve your problem, please post the complete code for us test, we can better help you in this way!

    Best Regards,

    Eric Du
