COUNTIFS using text based numbers RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using a text based number to identify certain types of incidents we use the range 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 6.9, 6.10, etc.  These are formated as text otherwise 6.1 and 6.10 would be both be 6.1.

Using the formula "=COUNTIFS(Jan!$J:$J,"6.1") and "COUNTIFS(Jan!$J:$J,"6.10")" is counting both the "6.1" and not the "6.10" in each formula.

Is there a something that help diferentiate the "6.1" and the "6.10".
