  • Issue Resolved myself.

    Solution: The class name of the customfieldtype which we created becomes the fieldType. Insert the same class name in schema.xml while creating column.

  • Hi,

    Try to Insert the following example XML into the Fields element in Schema.xml,

    <Field Type="Note" DisplayName="Description" Required="FALSE" NumLines="6" RichText="FALSE" Sortable="FALSE" ID="{cb55bba1-81a9-47b6-8e6c-6a7da1d25602}" StaticName="BugDescription" Name="BugDescription" Group="Custom Columns" />

  • Hi Chen,

             Thanks for response. But My Field Type is not Note. Let me give you more detail about my question. I have CustomFieldType called "signature" (like text, datetime etc.,) .

            That signature internally have 3 different controls (Username and password as labels and textbox).

            I would like to add that signature type column to a list definition to automate the creation of list.

    Raj.
