Process.EnterDebugMode Error RRS feed

  • Question

  •  The following is causing the program to crash with an unhandled error. EventType: clr20r3.

    What could be causing it?

    One of my users is experiencing this, he is using XP SP3 With Administrator account.

  • The SeDebugPrivilege is a powerful privilege, it allows the process to mess with any other process running on the machine.  I'd guess your user is the victim of an IT staff that is paying attention to details.  Post to forums.technet.com to find out how the privilege is turned off, I'd guess it is a group policy setting.

  • Ok so i discovered it throws a Win32Exception. The return code is 1300, "Not all privileges or groups referenced are assigned to the caller". What causes this?
