How to change the DPI of Screen of WES7 using Dos Command? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

    I tried to change the DPI appearance of the desktop on a WES7 terminal, and hope to get a larger size font. I've modified the value of registration entry "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowsMetrics\AppliedDPI" from 96 to 144 using command line in auto.bat file. The font became larger, but the size was not constant. The size varied each time I logged in.  I don't know why. Should I modify some other registration entries as well, not only AppliedDPI ? Can anyone give some advice? Thanks in advance.

    Best,
    S.HUANG

  • Is the font going back to 96 on each reboot? If so you might want to disable the write-filter (EWF or FBWF) in the image.

  • I just looked in my Script which changes the DPI correctly on a Embedded System with the Regkey

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\Fonts]
    "LogPixels"=dword:0000007d

    Just give Logpixels the correct Value as example 144 would be "dword:00000090"
