  • It depends on what you are trying to do.  Between System.Math and the Enumerable extension methods for IEnumerable<T> (such as Sum(), Min(), Max(), Average(), and Aggregate()), many simple statistics are trivial to calculate.

There is no built-in library for more advanced statistics, however.  There are quite a few third party libraries which handle many statistical functions, however.  For example, Math.NET Numerics (http://numerics.mathdotnet.com/) contains quite a few statistic routines, and commercial packages like Extreme Optimization (http://www.extremeoptimization.com/) contain huge amounts of statistical functions.

  • The more advanced Statistic Formula are contained in the System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.StatisticFormula class.

    1) smartstats : hosted in codeplex:  https://smartstats.codeplex.com/

    2) Accord .net framework: https://code.google.com/p/accord/

    and several others.
