config-ppe add data type - get logo too large error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to add appointment data type and I get "Logo too large error" - there is no logo on that page, so I'm not sure what's causing the error.
    Thanks,

  • I think the logo you are using for the application is larger than what is currently acceptable.  Please note that the logo size has recently changed as quoted from the blog.

Moving forward we will require logo size of 120px by 60 px for applications, this is part of usability improvements. Earlier we recommended size of 140px by 140px, we are planning to convert these logos to the new size and validate the changes with our partners.

Please set a correct sized application logo (by dimensions) first and then try to update the data type.

  • I understand that, the problem is that I can't change the logo.
On the page that that allows you to update the logo, it says "Authorization rule required." when I try to upload a new logo.  On the page that has nothing to do with logos (online access), it says logo size too large.

I am sure someone from Microsoft would help you update your configuration manually.
