Visual Studio IntelliCode RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Many times a developer wants to call a common method or use a commonly used property in their daily coding such as TryParse on an int. With Visual Studio IntelliCode AI assisted you get the following when typing "int." The asterisk brings commonly used methods and properties to the top of the Intellisense list. Like any feature some will love it while others no so much yet thought it was a good idea to present this.

IntelliCode saves time by putting what you’re most likely to use at the top of your completion list—based on your code context and its training. IntelliCode trains across 2,000 open source projects on GitHub—each with over 100 stars—to generate these recommendations

Signature help is now context-aware, too, to recommend the best fit overload.
