Property Sheets cannot be resized RRS feed

  • Question

  • A weird problem just cropped up. All property sheets in Access 2016 (for forms, reports, etc., but not the VBA code window), are greater than full screen. Even if Access is maximized, the property sheet is cut off on the left hand side. It cannot be resized in the normal manner of dragging, or using CTRL F8. Tried this with other DBs as well. Hopefully someone smarter than I can figure this out. BTW, forms and reports are not full size and can easily be resized.

  • Try this: undock it, resize it, and dock it again.

  • For future use...Press ALT+Spacebar and select Size. That will give you a cursor that lets you resize a window. It's gotten me out of situations like that when I laogged into my account from a laptop and the window sizes were all out of whack and no title bar was reachable.
