  • Hi all

    I am using Visual Basic 2019 and office 365 and getting this massage when working with Access database in my program using

    Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 is not registered on this machine

    please help

    You need the Access engine.

    Thank you for posting here.

    As Kareninstructor suggested, You need to install the access database engine.

    What needs to be added is that you should install the correct version of access engine, because you cannot install both 32bit and 64bit access engine.

    If you install 64bit access engine, you need to make sure your ‘Target CPU’ (right click your project -> properties -> Compile -> Target CPU ) is not ‘x86’.
