Unexpected Polygon "click" event fired RRS feed

  • Question

  • There appears to be an unexpected 'click' event being fired when I set the "disablePanning" map option to "true".

    This can observed on the Bing maps V8 Interactive SDK demo at the following URL:

    http://www.bing.com/api/maps/sdk/mapcontrol/isdk#polygonAllEvents+JS

    To replicated the error, disable panning in the following map constructor, the click the run arrow:

    var map = new Microsoft.Maps.Map(document.getElementById('myMap'), {
        credentials: 'Your Bing Maps Key',
    disablePanning: true
    });

    Next, click the mouse down within the map polygon, then move the cursor out of the polygon before releasing the mouse.

    You should notice that the "click" event is being called on the polygon upon mouseUp.
