How to view stored procedures in SQL Azure database in VS2010

Question

Hi,

I want to view stored procedures in SQL Azure database in VS2010. But when I click on the name of stored procedure in Server Explorer, it gives "The operation is not supported when connected to a SQL Azure database". I wonder how to view stored procedures in SQL Azure database in VS2010.

It doesn't work in VS2010. I found this suggestion/post from 2010: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/574224/unable-to-determine-keys-in-server-explorer-when-using-sql-azure-database

It now works fine with VS2012 (RC)!

In the meantime, you can use SQL Server Management Studio 2008 R2 Express Edition, which is freely available at: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22985

The R2 version is required, the base version of 2008 won't work...
