AppDomain.CreateDomain throws OutOfMemoryException after upgrading to 4.5 RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

We have a .NET COM component that creates a new AppDomain and loads another assembly in that domain. The assembly and the COM component are built using Visual Studio 2010 SP1 and .NET 4.0. It all worked fine until we upgraded .NET 4.0 to 4.5. Once we installed .NET 4.5 framework, System.AppDomain.CreateDomain started throwing OutOfMemoryException. I have tried rebuilding the COM component and the assembly after installing 4.5 but the problem still persists.

    Any help would be appreciated.
