      • Application Error:Launch stop was not detected for application id App.
    • Impact if not fixed: Your application exhibits poor launch performance by taking a long time to launch and/or consuming significant amount of resources (% CPU utilization, File I/O, Memory usage). This may negatively impact the user experience when multitasking between applications. Reducing resource utilization during launch can improve launch times especially when contention for resources is high.

  • Hello chlo41,

If you first try to uninstall the Metro style app from the Start screen and then re-deploy it. And at this time will you still get errors when you run Windows App Certification Kit validate and test your metro style app?

  • Hi chlo41,

What version of Windows App Certification Kit do you have? Did you upgrade from Win8 developer preview to consumer preview?

Can you share logs from your %localappdata%\Microsoft\AppCertKit folder?

  • Hi Vicky,

Yes, I re-deploy the my application for several times, and I got this warning.
Do you think this the root cause? If this would be passed if the application installed in the first time?

  • Hi Pyaare,

My Cert Kit version is preview is 6.2.8102.0

I still used preview, but I will check it in consumer.

There are many logs under the folder, could you tell me which logs?

  • chlo41, This is an old build that came out with Developer Preview. The kit for Consumer Preview is 8219 instead of 8102. Please try that and see if it resolves your issue.
