FaceMouse - Using your face as mousecontrol RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi folks,

I would like to show you two different mouse control apps, I've implemented with Kinect SDK. The first one works with your hand (like you already know from XBox Kinect Mousecontrol, but with some enhancements) and one with your face: Just move your head to move the cursor and blink your eyes for clicking.

If you like, you can download them from my website:

I'm always happy to get some feedback.

    Best regards,

    Tom

  • Nice Tom! Both queued for the Coding4Fun Kinect Gallery, http://channel9.msdn.com/coding4fun/kinect/, for the week after next.

Any chance you can release the source too?

Anyway, thanks for doing this and thanks for sharing... :)

  • Hi Greg,

Thanks for your feedback and for queuing it for Coding4Fun.

Maybe I will release the source later. I would like to clean it up and document it a bit more, before releasing. ;-)

thats pretty neat. Thanks for sharing it. Are you any good with multiple kinect users? I have gotten through most of the hard stuff but Iam trying to split up kinect input for multiple users can you help me out? my project is here: http://kinectmultipoint.codeplex.com. Its a multiple user revision of kinectmouse but I need to weed out the code that is causing errors for me (the emulator part is working so far).
