problem while compiling a biztalk solution

Question
-
Hi friends,
I have done the fresh installations of Visual Studio 2005 and BizTalk 2006 development tools and even done repairs of both but still whenever I try to compile a solution it replies with
"compiler for file type *.xsd failed, value cannot be Null. Parameter name Punk"
The same setups are perfectly working for on one of the other machine.
Thanks,

There is a hotfix for this issue http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884412
It applies to BTS2006 and R2 as written on this blog/comments.

Thanks, but the solution seems to be as per BTS 2004 as I could not find the BTSInstaller and I have already followed the information mentioned in the "More Information" section, but still the issue is there.

I think you need to re-install/Repair BizTalk.

Hi,
Clean the BizTalk. I mean see that no db trace of BTS in SqlServer.
Remove Ent. SSO and start fresh installation.
Thanks

Hi,
I've seen this problem couple of times before on my development machines. Repairing BizTalk will fix it. At least it did in my case :-)
