How to install a driver on Intel Galileo running Windows IoT? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I try to install a driver on the Intel Galileo running Windows IoT.
I wanted to use the devcon tool, but it does not run.
After digging deeper I recognized that the DLLs in the Windows image do not contain the required functions. For example, the SetupApi.dll only contains 3 more or less useless functions.
Some guys seem to be able to run devcon.exe (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsdesktop/en-US/645b2289-47a3-42bc-be92-c56741bf9069/using-a-wireless-mini-pci-express-card-with-intel-galileo?forum=HardwareBoards) - is there another Windows image that I need to use? Who can help?
