Visual Studio 2012 Source code not hitting break point

    Question

  • Am struggling to debug my Source code .cant step in to the break point ,the break points shows "No Symbol loaded for this document".

I made sure than am running the code in Debug mode.

I used the Symbol folder to where my PDB files are getting generated .

    My debug info is FULL

I tried deleting the Symbol cache.

I deleted the Appdata temp folder files .

I uninstalled and reinstalled visual studio 2012.

Still am not able to get rid of this issue .If someone can help me out here would be my life savior.

  • Your PDB file should be in the same folder as your executable. Be sure to delete your current PDB file and generate a new one in that folder.
