How can I fill a listbox in a Word 2007 userform from and Access accdb? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to fill a listbox on a Word 2007 userform with rows from an Access accdb database (2007).  I have seen the code in Knowledge Base for an mdb, but that's not what I'm using.

Is this possible?  It seems like it should be. For easy use by maintainers of the data used to fill this listbox, I prefer to use Access for its storage.  In a similar application, I used a delimited text file, which was far more difficult for the manager to modify when occasionally it was necessary to do so, not to mention the more elaborate coding required to import it.

I resort to this forum only after searching for similar situations and finding none.  If someone knows of a good discussion of this, I would appreciate the information.

  • I found a better way to do this, just using another Word document.  I was probably making this too hard for myself.

    Consider this answered.
