How to set a css code to affect a site collection header (hide root link) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    Our client needs to hide the "root link" from the header.

    For example: "e-Formularios" root site link.

    It worked adding this code to a webpage in a content editor webpart;

    <style type="text/css">
    .ms-core-listMenu-horizontalBox li.static > a{
    display: none !important;
    .ms-core-listMenu-horizontalBox li.static > ul a{
    display: block !important;

    Since adding this code manually to every webpage is difficult, what we need is to add this css code in order to affect all the site collection and sub sites.

    I'm confused on how to add it because i tried a lot of solutions and none worked...

    I hope i get help with this.

    Best regards,

  • Just solved it adding the .css as alternative css in masterpage web configuration.
