Help me for error on open/import database

Hi to all,

i speak little english, i'm sorry...

I have a big problem on open/import database over 4.000.000 of records with Access 2016.

The system return a error "Cannot open database <name>. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.". Anyone can help me??? Thanks</name>

Sounds like your database has exceed the maximum size, which is around 4GB. Have you tried creating a new database and importing the objects (External Data tab - Access button)?

I have try to import over in many format (csv, xls, accdb) but but the result not change (the system return a error)

Have you tried CompactDatabase using code?
