I have an existing web application which needs enhancements and it was built using asp.net 2.0 and sql server, web forms etc. The architecture that was followed was database calls and business logic everything in one place(no BLL/DLL etc). Now I want to redo this application using repository pattern and newest technologies. I have Visual Studio 2010 on my dev machine and my production server will be windows server 2003 and sql server 2005 I already have an existing database. Can anyone please advice on how to go about this? I am new to the repository pattern/ MVC/ EF etc How easy is it to convert an existing web form asp.net app to MVC and is this even necessary to be in par with the Please advice
