I have an external hard drive that I plan to use for storage! Is it okay to use the same drive to run web applications. Will these web application have proper access and control using the external drive? Please reply. Markus

    Hi,

didn't try it but if you give it a drive letter and make sure IIS can reach it to make your application/site then you could give it a try. Make sure that the connection between disk and computer is fast (USB 3 or better for example) and the disk is very fast (SSD or so).

    Grz, Kris.

AFAIK, After you plug the external harddisk and new drive detected. I guess, no deferent between ext or int drive. It's like you plug new internal drive.

The deferent is performance and stability i guess.
