I recently upgrated from Sharepoint 2010 to Shaarepoint 2013 adn every things seems to be working fine until
noticed that all users are only able to see workflows created before upgrade an those created by them.
Permissions ar controlled by acticve directory security groups. I have changed to permission to full access bactiut nothing doing. Users with with administrator rights can view all items. The groups imported from active directory look I think a bit strange,
Name xxxx\yyyy - group blabla
Account should be the same as Name, the same thing goes for Sharepoint groups. This is happens only fornew imported active directory groups and new Sharepoint groups.
From the Account information you provided, it looks like you have Claims based authentication. Was your SP2010 environment setup with Claims based authentication or did you change that after the migration. Also, when you migrate you have to setup your initial sp2013 web app to match your original sp2010 i.e. if you used Claims Based NTLM in 2010 then you have to setup the same in 2013.
I had run into a similar issue during my SharePoint 2007 to 2010 migration and I had to run the below commands to resolve the issue.
$WebAppName = http://Url
$wa = get-SPWebApplication $WebAppName
$wa.UseClaimsAuthentication = $true
Hope this helps.

the Sp2010 was set up as Windows basic authentication. I installed SP2013 on new hardware and created the web with Windows basic authentication moved the db and mounted it. Thent I changed it to Claims based authentication using this script or similar.
Is ok to run this again or is it possible to check first if this is the issue?
