    Hi everyone,

I'm creating a MVC app that consumes a WCF Services (Service layer) and I've a question about the authentication/authorization. If we create a MVC application it already comes with ASP.NET Identity but in this case I wanted a Service to handle all the authentication/authorization part (because I want to make the Service layer also available for other developers).

I read that it's possible to user ASP Membership in WCF (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms731049(v=vs.110).aspx), is this the right way to achieve this?

Can I use WCF - ASP.NET Membership with any binding? Or I'm strict to http?

Isn't there a way to use ASP.NET Identity in WCF?

Thank you and sorry for the newbie question but I'm really green in WCF.
