recover mail big with exchange RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have ex 2003 sp2. I have deleted a user account (with mailbox). Before of this delelete  I have made a pst file of the mailbox with exmerge. Then I have recreated my user (same name and same account) with mailbox empty. Unfortunately I discover that pst work only for mail not big. My account is 6 GB. So I have restored my mailbox store (with recovery storage group). I mount recoverry storage group but when I try to copy or merge my user I look this error: "Exchange Server computer has failed. The MAPI provider failed. Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store ID no: 8004011d-0512-00000000"
    suggest?
    Thank's

  • The issue you had with ExMerge is because it only supports the ANSI format of PST files which has a 2GB limit, vs the Unicode PST format that has a 20GB limit.  The error you are receiving appears at first glance to be a permissions issue.   If you want to have complete access to the offline EDB with the ability to Export the data to a Unicode PST or to recover it directly into a live production Exchange server check out Lucid8's DigiScope http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp
