  • Question

  • Hello,

I have a Silverlight application that works on my local computer without any problem. A problem begins when I put it on the hosting server. What connection string for WPFService must be in this case instead of:

    <endpoint address="http://localhost:1067/Service1.svc...   ?

    Thanks

  • I think you would be required to host the service to someplace.

If you want to do it all locally, you need to host it onto your local IIS.

To know your machines ip: type ipconfig in the command prompt - alternatively, when your trying to put up the service on IIS, you should be able to select the ip address from a dropdown box (this ip is your local machines ip). Assign a port while hosting the service.

The ip address + port would then become the endpoint :)

    Hope it helps.
