How do I get speech recognition to only recognize numbers without saying "numeral"?

    Question

  • I apologize for any lack of information with this but I have never coded, I have an excel VBA that I'm using to do my inventories by voice using Microsoft speech recognition. It works but to help speed up the process I would like to be able to no longer say "numeral" before the number. I understand I need a class and grammar but I'm lost. many times the "numeral" gets interpreted as emerald or the number 10 comes in as tin........annoying when doing an inventory through a Bluetooth headset. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

  • Stoop1dmOnkey,

You have asked this question in the small basic forum. It would seem that you need to post the question to the Microsoft office community for Excel. I looked on that site and there is quite a bit of discussion about speech recognition.
