Convert VS2012 HTML client preview to VS2013 problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all!

I tried to convert my solution to VS2013 so here are my steps:

Open the solution in VS2012 update 3. Did that no problem

Open the new solution in vs2013 => Projects are out of place.

Any idea how I can fix this or what I did wrong?

  • Hi Laurentz,

I don't think your projects look out of place.

I do know of a few upgrade problems though. Right-click on client and server nodes to check if you have the LightSwitch context menu commands. That is one thing to look for.

We have had to deep clean and rebuild several projects (delete all obj and bin/debug bin/release folders, extension folders).

For some extension problems the config.xml needs editing.

Do some quick checks to see if you have found anything new.

    Cheers

    Dave
