I have created a small demo website (for mobile) using vs2005, and asp .net mobile controls and it's running fine over my desktop and emulators as well.... now i would like to test it over various phones, so i would like to establish a WAP server over my dedicated server (Windows 2003 server) a,d configure it as a WAP server.

Please tell me is it possible and if yes, then what would i had to do.....

someone told me,,,it won't be able to handle WAP, as IIS is only meant for HTTP requests...is it true?

I am willing to work with Microsoft Technology only.....

Second.....couldn't my WAP enabled phone...make a request something like http://mydedicatedserver.com/default.aspx

just because the address is http, i dont' think IIS should cause a problem serving it to a WAP enabled phone...

Note - i am using a Sony ericsson K 750 i, and a High End Nokia phone with XHTML browser, so i would like to cover both of them....

A reference to article / book would also be appreciated....also if there is a live sample over web which i can check out with my phones.

    Thanks and Regards

there isn't wap server. wap/wml/xhtl just different markup languages. upload your files to server and browse it wih your phone
