List Details Filter/Search Box returns No Matches Found RRS feed

  • Question

  • web app has been working fine, but suddenly the filter/search box at the top of the List Details Views stopped returning matching records - on all tables.  Used to work, now just returns No Matches Found.

However the filter/search box on the Summary Views work fine?  Any suggestions?

I have another view which uses a text box input for Paramater search against a query and the results list is appropriate.

    Thanks in advance...

  • Thanks, I can't upload a screenshot, but tried multiple times - says I'm not verified, but not sure how to become verified.

In any event, this just started working again - it was truly out for several days, and then just began operating as normal without any explicit activity...

    Thanks again for advice, Eric

  • Hi ejbruner,

    >>Used to work, now just returns No Matches Found.

Could you share us a screen shot about this? I made a test with Search box, and if there is no matched records, it would return “There are no items to display.” Instead of “No Matches Found”.

    >>However the filter/search box on the Summary Views work fine?

I suggest you check the property of List view and Summary Views. I suggest you create a new List View, and then check whether this Search worked or not. If it works, I suggest you compare the property of two List Views. If it would not work, I suggest you share us a screen shot about your table, and details steps to create List View.

In addition, if new List View did not work, I suggest you create a new Access web app to make a test.

    Best Regards,

    Edward
