Access Web App SendEmail to a group RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Access 2013 web app on Office 365 online. I am currently using the data macro action 'SendEmail' to send email to an individual to notify them of an event. I am trying to modify that action to notify all members of a group, rather than one individual.

We have created a group mail (within our tenancy), but the macro action 'SendEmail', which sends the mail from 'noreply@sharepoint.com' will not allow the mail to be sent to a group mail. What other steps must we take in order to allow the 'SendEmail' action to go to a group?

If anyone has found a way to do this, I'd really appreciate some direction!

    Thanks,
    Sup

  • Hi Supmktg2,

do you mean you have problem with sharepoint or you have problem with send mail?

if you have problem with send mail then you can specify all the Email Address in the "To:" to whom you want to send mail.

you can use ";" between 2 email address.

if you have issue with sharepoint and you can reproduce that issue with sharepoint  itself without using Access then I would recommend you to post the issue on sharepoint forum.

For more information related to send mail please visit the link mentioned below.

if you still have any questions then let me know about that.
