  • HI friends

I have confusion in mind that how SQL Server database Engine is working internally?

    I just want Your thoughts?

I mean is it possible that knowing how it is working internally can solve problems of a DBA?

Thanks in advance...give it a thought

  • I would suggest to read "Inside SQL Server 2008: Internals " book by Kalen Delaney. In fact, "Inside SQL Server" is one of the best series/resources about Microsoft SQL Server.

    Thank you!

  • I would recommend to go for GURUs Guide For SQL Server written by Ken Henderson. Its amazing one. But yes one has to read it multiple times in order to understand as its having vast knowledge & internal knowledge about SQL Server Engine.
