MDS Azure RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am looking to migrate to Azure and was preparing the presentation to plan

A big stumbling block with Azure is that theres no MDS

lots of requests for it (4years) but no plans to introduce

i was very keen on using the mds2016 to allows user in web ui to update certain tables for permissions ec to remove the operational tasks but how now?

is there progress perhaps on the mds azure?

    Thank You

You can now host Master Data Services on a SQL managed instance in Azure. This capability was added with the release of SQL Server 2019.

The installation and configuration instructions are here
