Network drive is identified as internet zone RRS feed

  • Hi All

When I develop with Visual Studio I use a network drive, where my code is saved.
Now I have the problem, that my network drive is in the internet zone instead of the local intranet zone. I have the problem, that my generated assembly has restricted access to the system.

-I enhanced the trust of the local intranet zone in .Net 2 framework settings without success (logical, if the network drive is in internet zone).
-I installed Service Pack 3 to Windows XP to fix the error mentioned in Q303650, without success
-I entered the FQDN of the network drive in trusted sites for local interanet in internet explorer without success.

Do you have an idea, whats the problem ist.

    Thank you

  • Do you mean you install VS on a network drive or just project there?
What is the VS version and edition?
