Implement Custom Endpoint Behavior RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

    I have a feasibility question. Here is my scenario

    1.  A third party provides a WebService, where we need to send the username and password, in the body of the soap message. The third party replies with a TransactionId
    2. We must send the message with the username password and transactionid + all data relevant to the ThirdParty
    3. Commit the transaction once done.

    I was wondering, was it possible to implement a custom Endpoint Behavior that would implement automatically the step 1 and step 3?

    Thanks for any help

  • Hello,

    Please put the below to your wcf transactions config file:

    <behaviors>
         <serviceBehaviors>
           <behavior name="Default">
            <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true"  httpGetUrl=""/>
             <serviceCredentials>
               <userNameAuthentication
                    userNamePasswordValidationMode="Custom"
                    customUserNamePasswordValidatorType="WindowsFormsApplication11.CustomValidator, CustomValidator" />
             </serviceCredentials>
           </behavior>
        </serviceBehaviors>
    </behaviors>
    <services>
